WELCOME TO SNOWDEN
25 years ago this year a husband and wife team started a small business in Perth, Western Australia, to provide geological consulting services to the local mining industry. Today that business has grown into a premium consulting group with a global footprint and a reputation for delivering high quality services across the mining life cycle, with the same personal touch and values on which the business was founded.
Of course, in addition to its founders, Snowden owes much to the many staff and clients that have shaped the business over the years.
In 2012 Snowden invites you to join us in celebrating our 25th year milestone. We are planning events and activities that will both acknowledge the achievement but also thank our valued clients. Please look out for us at an event near you.

2012 Snowden Photo Competition
We are excited to announce that submissions to the Snowden Photo Competition 2012 are officially open with a number of new categories in which to submit your photograph! If you are an amateur photographer you can now go online and submit your entry that encompasses the diversity and beauty of our industry!
The categories that will be judged this year are:

Informal Fridays
Snowden is offering a new service (and it’s free!) to anyone who has attended a Snowden Professional Development training course or been mentored by one of our experts, and would like some advice or guidance now that they are putting the theory they have learned into practice.
This free consulting service takes place at our offices in West Perth and Brisbane between 3.30 to 4.30 pm each and every Friday.
This is a unique opportunity to discuss with our team of geostatisticians, resource geologists, metallurgists, risk management consultants, geotechnical engineers and mining engineers - any technical problems you may be having and the options for resolving them. After 4.30 pm you are welcome to stay on and enjoy snacks and a beverage with the team.
